Guest Reviews

We spent 2 nights here, and the room and breakfast were amazing. Very comfortable, felt like we were the only ones staying there. The location was perfect, just outside of town. Close to all the sights and restaurants. When we come back through Maine, we will definitely stay again.

My wife and I stayed at 1802 House and had the most relaxing, enjoyable weekend! Our room was very cozy, well decorated, and extremely tidy, with everything we could have wanted in an inn for a weekend retreat. The gas fireplace definitely made the room feel nice and warm in the evenings. Breakfast was delicious each morning, with special attention given to our dietary restrictions. I can say, initially I hesitated to make this reservation- the pictures were so-so, and it looked a little…older than we would have liked (even for a 220yr old home). We booked the whole inn for a 12-person wedding ceremony, and it was exactly what we were looking for. 1802 House is such a lovely space for an intimate gathering with friends and family. Incredible service, delicious breakfast, close to downtown Kennebunkport. Highly recommend. Thank you to Eileen and Carl for making our wedding day and weekend so special.

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely overnight at the 1802 House. The Camden room fireplace and heated tile floors were perfect on a chilly night. It is a quick walk to Dock Square for shopping and dining. The house itself is clean and well-appointed, and the breakfast was perfectly delectable! A truly wonderful stay!
