Guest Reviews

Camp Deforest rescued our vacation from an Airbnb-gone-wrong last summer, and we loved it so much we came back this year. Accommodations are charming, pristine, no detail overlooked. Staff is even better--so personable and helpful, from the made-to-order blueberry pancakes to the late night campfires. Among our whole family, we've tested out almost all the cabins and rooms--consistently delightful. We used Lincolnville as our home base to explore the...

Wow! This is a place you HAVE to put on your bucket list!! We unfortunately only stayed one night while passing through, but we easily could have spent our whole vacation right here at Camp DeForest. So many activities to keep you busy, beautiful surrounding area, and the staff was fantastic to work with. The rooms are decorated so well and beautifully, with so much charm and character. The...

Loved the stay. Room was fantastic. Updated, clean, very nice!!! I wish I would have taken more room pictures of it. The only thing I would say, the continental breakfast was very, very small...they had food order options that smelled good but cost additional. I'd say include a sandwich(es) in the pricing for folks to pick from instead of trying to decide to buy one or not. That is...

We enjoyed a fun stay! We loved the camp welcome and the fire pit. The room was awesome- clean, loved the camp theme and the details, it was very cozy and comfortable. The breakfast was confusing and could use more guidance and attention to detail (milk for coffee, ketchup for eggs, where to put dishes). We weren’t clear on what was included for breakfast. But overall it was an...

Words can't describe how beautiful this place is. Every detail, from the decor to the room design, was thoughtfully done and absolutely stunning. The staff were all incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. Some of my favorite moments were relaxing around the campfires and enjoying the amazing homemade bagels at breakfast. I would highly recommend this place to anyone thinking about visiting—it exceeded all of my expectations!
