Guest Reviews

Our room was in the carriage house and was absolutely gorgeous and as pictured. This soaking hot tub was wonderful. The small little touches, like when you forget your toothbrush and having that kit there It's a little things that you really appreciate. Breakfast was delicious each morning we were there. The grounds are also beautiful.

We were visiting from Florida for a day trip. The location is gorgeous between the river and the mountains. Paul and the staff were awesome! Paul gave us tips to local restaurants and places to visit. You will enjoy your stay. The breakfast is on the top three I ever hard. It is a breakfast you will always remember. The rooms and bathroom were clean. Perfect score.

We travelled to Vermont (from Ontario, Canada) for our honeymoon, and drove to Brattleboro specifically to stay at the Inn on Putney Road! We had the most amazing stay here. The house is more beautiful in person than in the photos- it is delightfully charming, quiet and the garden is spectacular. Our room was clean, temperature controlled (cool!), cozy and stocked with snacks & drinks. Breakfast in the morning...See More

Our stay with Paul and Judy at the Inn on Putney Road was exceptional. After a long roadtrip from the Midwest, Paul went out of his way to check in on us as we arrived, showing us around the inn and to our room, carefully taking our breakfast orders, and making us feel totally welcome. The house and grounds are beautiful, the room and common spaces warmly decorated and...See More

Was blown away by how just a quick casual stay felt like a long, relaxing getaway. So cozy, felt like a haven from the winter grey- and the food was exceptional! The secret ingredient is probably love but all the normal ingredients were also excellent ;) Looking forward to having a reason to come back.
