In 1821, Dr. Peter Allen hired architect-builder Willis Smith of CT to construct his home. This would become Smith's most memorable accomplishment and the crowned Jewel of Federal Neo-Classical architecture in the area.
Today, The Peter Allen Inn and Event Center has become northeast Ohio's premier venue to host events for all occasions. It is an exquisite piece of Kinsman's history that offers elaborate event spaces, luxurious overnight accommodations, and extraordinary culinary experiences.
The Tavern at Peter Allen Inn has live entertainment every Friday and Saturday evening all year 6pm - 9pm.
The wetlands just down the road from the INN is a Preserved Scenic Waterway with a huge Bald Eagle population.
Be sure to visit the Linesville Spillway just 15 minutes north "Where the ducks walk on the fish"

In 2010, Richard Thompson dedicated himself to preserving the community's heritage. Due to it's architectural importance, he began with the Allen's House, which now serves the community as a lodging, dining, & events venue.
