The Avalon Hotel rests quietly on Catalina Island which is located approximately 22 nautical miles off of the Southern California coast of Long Beach. We offer guests beautiful ocean views, private balconies, and delicious complimentary breakfast each morning. Welcome
The Avalon Hotel was built in 1925 and features Craftsman-style architecture in a modern setting with unique artwork and handmade hardwoods. Remodeled in 2003, its 15 rooms offer a garden, balcony with partial ocean views, and full ocean view rooms. Its rooftop terrace has panoramic vistas of the harbor and is an ideal setting for a small wedding. It accommodates up to 35 people and can be reserved with full rental of the hotel. A complimentary breakfast is served on the garden patio, where guests can also enjoy a fire pit, secluded seating, intricate landscaping, and a fountain. We are your bed and breakfast destination so head to Catalina Island!

Policies
We have a 31-day Cancellation Policy. If you wish to cancel or modify a reservation, you must do so by 3 PM 31-days prior to your arrival date. If you cancel or modify post the expiration of the Cancellation Period or you fail to show up, a no-show charge will be levied on your credit card for one full night plus tax. Non-refundable reservations cannot be canceled or modified - total reservation amount will be charged in case of cancellation or no-show. If you have to cancel within 30-days, you’ll be assessed a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations made within 7-days of your stay will be charged the first night's stay. Packages and extras will be pre-charged and obligated to the cancellation policies of the vendors and partner businesses.
