Inviting. Welcoming. Indulgent. Our stylish 1810 village Inn is the perfect backdrop for your mid-coast Maine getaway! We are located in quintessential Camden, showcasing a picturesque harbor where the mountains meet the sea, with activities and events for all seasons.

You’ll be greeted at the Captain Swift Inn by the sounds of soft music, fresh flowers and, depending upon the time of day, candlelight and the sweet smells of baking breads. In cooler months, you’ll find fireplaces warming our three sitting rooms.

Our inn features nine beautifully appointed guest rooms, three of which are sumptuous luxury suites, all individually and tastefully decorated, most boasting king size beds. All guest rooms feature new en-suite baths with spa showers and message body sprays. There are ten fireplaces, seven of which are in guest rooms. Our luxury suites boast over-sized whirlpool tubs and spa showers, fireplaces, and refreshment bars including a stocked mini refrigerator; a microwave with popcorn and a Keurig with an assortment of coffees, teas and hot chocolate. All rooms feature new quality linens, plush euro pillowtop Serta mattresses, flat screen TVs with select premium channels and bedside charging ports. Lush spa robes, slippers, Turkish towels and Poggesi bathe goods with scents of coco, orange and mango are a joy to the senses. On site massages are available with advance scheduling.

You’ll know it’s time for breakfast when you smell the aromas of freshly ground, locally roasted coffee coming from the Inn’s kitchen. Breakfast is available in our intimate dining room with tables for two or on our dining deck, weather permitting. Our bountiful candlelit breakfast begins with a continental buffet with slow cooked rolled oats and brown sugar, cinnamon and raisins; Inn made granola; yogurt with fresh berries and dried fruit; locally made cheeses and chutney; hard boiled eggs; a sweet morning bread and a delicious slicing bread – all made at the Inn. Next up is a served, plated fruit dish followed by the entrée of the day, which alternates between sweet and savory. All entrees are vegetarian, meat is served on the side.

Fresh whole fruit, Inn baked chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin cookies and beverages are available 24/7 at the guest pantry, which includes a beverage refrigerator stocked with bottled water, tea and soft drinks. And our hot sips beverage nook features coffee, tea and the Inn’s own hot cocoa, also 24/7.

Bevs and Bites is available mid-afternoon through the evening and includes beverages from our full-service bar. After a busy day, relax with your favorite beverage in one of our sitting rooms, on the deck or in an Adirondack chair by the fire pit and a petite complimentary cheese plate is on us.
