The architects and owners have created an Inn which celebrates the beauty of the north coast. The architecture, while bold, is charmingly intimate. The use of natural and local materials honors the bounty of the area and helps to bring the outside inside and connects you to the landscape.
Our "North coast seasonally inspired ranch cuisine" will delight you. We source and serve as many local ingredients and wines as possible. We grow some of our own vegetables, herbs, greens and flowers, and serve only the finest local meats and seafood.
Located three and a half hours north of San Francisco, The Inn at Newport Ranch is part of a 2,000 acre coastal cattle ranch on the site of the former town of Newport and its lumber chute. With over a mile of oceanfront, three miles of ridge tops, panoramic coastal views and 20 miles of world class hiking and riding trails through redwoods and along the coast, the ranch is a unique private domain for vacations, conferences, weddings and events. Food & Wine

While staying at The Inn at Newport Ranch, our guests will be offered an array of dining options. A complimentary breakfast and fireside appetizers are offered daily for all of our Inn guests, and preordered lunch and dinner service will be available for an extra charge.

Our culinary culture is what we like to call "North coast seasonally inspired ranch cuisine." We source and serve as many local ingredients and wines as possible. We grow some of our own vegetables, herbs, greens and flowers, and serve only the finest local meats and seafood.

All of our rooms & suites either have a "guest kitchen" or their own kitchens (Suites) to use, and we welcome our guests to use these facilities at their disposal.

BREAKFAST SERVICE
8:30 AM - 9:30 AM DAILY
A complimentary breakfast is served each morning from 8:30 am to 9:30 am. We prepare several ranch specials daily. For the early risers, hot beverages and pastries are available at 7:30 a.m. in the main dining room.

LUNCH SERVICE
12:00 PM – 1:30 PM DAILY
Lunches are casual and served upon request. We offer sandwiches, and fresh salads daily. Picnic lunches are also available by preorder each morning. This is a great option if you want to explore the ranch, local beaches or have a wine country adventure.

FIRESIDE APPETIZERS & LIBATIONS
6:00PM - 7:00PM DAILY
Each day we invite our guests to join us for complimentary hors d'oeuvres and 1 cocktail or glass of wine and soft beverages in the main dining room or the outdoor firepit from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm. This is the perfect opportunity to reminisce about the day's adventures with old and new friends.

DINNER
7:00 PM DAILY
Dinner at the Inn is served in one seating at 7 pm either at our communal table, your own private table or even delivered to your suite seven nights a week. We strive to use local and sustainable products harvesting a majority of our produce from our own ranch gardens. Here at the Inn at Newport Ranch we strive to create menus that can cater to any dietary restriction. As we do cater only to our guests we request 24-hour notice for dinner reservations.

Rooms & Suites

The MAIN INN building includes 3 guestrooms on the 2nd floor. They all have access to a 7-person hot tub with views of the ocean and hills. The first-floor living room, dining area, library, kitchen, wrap-around porch, and bbq terrace are all open to guests, The Newport Dining Room has an intimate seating area in front of a 20-foot stone walk-in fireplace.THE REDWOOD HOUSE features 3 suites, each with unique architecture. With 24 redwood trees holding up the structure, each of the three suites has a living room, dining area, kitchen, fireplace, deck, views of the ocean and Internet service. The Grove Suite and the Newport Suite have hot tubs, while the Birdhouse Suite has a sauna.BARB’S PLACE offers a queen bed and a lovely seating area with an electric fireplace, television and wireless internet. The bath has a walk-in shower. A Dutch door opens to a small terrace with a seating area and a wonderful view of the entire ranch and the coast.

DEPOSIT/CANCELLATION FEE
A deposit equal to one night's stay is due upon reservation of your accommodations. Reservations canceled after booking will be charged a $30 administrative fee. Within 14‐days of check‐in, your deposit is no longer refundable. Last-minute cancelations are non‐refundable. In the event that we are able to re‐book your room or suite for the dates canceled, we will credit this amount to your charges.
We highly encourage guests to purchase travel insurance to protect them from unforeseeable circumstances that may require last‐minute cancellations.

Romantic and rugged, the Mendocino Coast is a spectacular setting for wedding ceremonies, elopements, and vow renewals.

Our ceremony site, Celebration Point, is a pointed bluff overlooking the ocean. The natural beauty of this site is a unique place for exchanging vows, in front of friends & family, or on your own.

Our reception site, the Newport Room, offers seating for up to 49 guests. Windows all around give the room a feeling of being out in nature, yet completely protected from the elements.

For events over 49 guests, the West Lawn, adjacent to the Newport Room, is our designated site for tent set-ups to allow for an indoor & outdoor reception of up to 100 guests.

Council Bluffs is our signature spot, complete with a fire pit and rock circle. Enjoy a cocktail hour and an unforgettable sunset with your family & friends.

Our Ranch is a boutique property that offers a mix of high-end amenities and outdoor adventure. Most formal meetings take place in our Newport Room, which can seat up to 49 guests. Windows all around give the room a feeling of being out in nature, yet completely protected from the elements.

The Redwood Room is adjacent to our Fireside Spa and can host up to 20 guests for meetings and other groups.

For those who want to find inspiration in nature, imagine a breakout session at Council Bluffs, complete with a fire pit and rock circle for seating. Our staff can bring your group up to the top of the ridge in our ATV's for a picnic lunch, and a guided hike through the Redwoods is sure to get your creative energy flowing.

Our catering staff can manage all daytime meals as well as special dinners and cocktail hours.
