Guest Reviews

My daughter and I stayed at the Laurel Oak Inn while moving her into her sorority house. The location was convenient to downtown and The Swamp for meals, and an easy drive to get to her sorority house each day. The accommodations were great...beds were very comfortable and the room was well appointed... we absolutely loved the charm the house had! If we needed anything or had a special...See More

The owner and their innkeeper and staff made our stay at Laurel Oaks an enjoyable two day visit to Gainesville. It was amazing the attention to detail in every aspect of being the perfect host; from comfortable bedding, well stocked kitchen (available 24 hours), personal needs and friendly atmosphere. We will be back.

We loved this bed and breakfast! The surroundings inside and outside were sumptuous, and the attention to detail impeccable. Excellent restaurants are within walking distance, and after a pleasant walk back to the Inn, we relaxed in the sitting room with a glass of wine before retiring to a restful nights sleep in the beautifully furnished and decorated Chestnut room. We both enjoyed Nan's scrumptious breakfasts and warm hospitality....See More

We stayed in the ground floor room, which has a very comfortable bed, walk-in shower, and wonderful furniture. There's a dining room, relaxing sitting room, outdoor seating, and complimentary drinks. And the breakfast is freshly prepared and absolutely delicious. Free parking on-site, close to downtown, wonderful and gracious hosts. One of the best B&B's we've ever stayed at anywhere!
