Stay at the Manor is the equivalent of staying in heaven. Everyone is so kind and accommodating, exceptional service. They have two dining rooms, afternoon tea service, and a hot cocoa bar. I’m gluten free and they were very accommodating at every turn. I’m gluten free and they were very accommodating at every turn. We stayed in Yorkshire which has incredible high ceilings—think sharp angled cathedral ceiling and the king size bed was like sleeping on a well supported cloud. The love seat in the room was also very comfortable and turned into a pullout. The amount of fire places at the Manor are vast and I loved the crackling fire. Make a reservation as soon as you can for the Van Horn to ensure availability for the amazing chef Carolyn—her cooking is incredible and her selection of high quality ingredients truly elevates the experience. The bar does close when the kitchen stops under NH state law, but you can get a bottle of wine to your room. The little touches all over are adorable especially the bathroom toiletries in the mini bathtub. Special thank you to Erica and Carolyn for making everything special and being so accommodating! We could not have asked for a better experience!

The restaurants and bar are beautiful. We had dinner in the main restaurant, the Van Horn Dining Room. It is a limited menu and they were out of many entrees due to Valentine’s being the day before, but the food was very good. We left extremely full and happy.
The only downside is that when the restaurant closes, the bar also closes. This was stated on the welcome letter. However, at 8:30pm, it would have been nice if our server had told us we were the last table and that once we paid, there was no additional option for buying a night cap cocktail. They will allow you to buy a bottle of wine.
Oh, you will not have cell reception, but they have good wifi and the rooms have phones.
Breakfast was also great. We had a hot a la carte breakfast before checking out.
We would highly recommend staying here.

We recently stayed at this hotel and had an unforgettable experience. We attended a private holiday event in the Mirador, and everything was perfect. The setting is absolutely stunning, with gorgeous views that create such a magical atmosphere. The food was incredible—delicious and beautifully presented.
Our accommodations in the Somerset Room were equally impressive. The room was cozy and elegant, with a fireplace that made it feel extra special....See More

The view overlooking the lake and mountains was breathtaking. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was pure luxury—the huge shower is an absolute dream!
This hotel exceeded all expectations. A 10/10 experience—I would highly recommend staying here and hope to return in the future!

Overall nice weekend getaway. My wife and I enjoyed two nights in a second-floor room, with windows facing the lake, which we could sort of see. Their own mixed berry jam was delicious! Nice croissants. Very tasty! The pool was being re-done, so wasn't open. We visited Meredith for other meals, shopping and swimming. The Meredith beach was enjoyable, just 15 minutes away. All in all, a very nice stay, and we would return.

I think the view is beautiful - wish it was easier to get to the lake and not crazy about the view of power lines and road. I could get passed that - but the darn construction crew noise is making me a little nutty. It is very loud with the hammering and the excavator’s equipment working on the property next door. Grrr.

But the two lovely staff members I met were wonderful - Megan and …I didn’t catch the room attendant’s name.
Quaint little room that felt so cozy, warm, and clean. Our room is on the very end- which I appreciate for privacy.
I am excited to try the afternoon tea, dinner and breakfast !
