Overall a great place. We spent two nights there. We stayed in the Windsor room. View is awesome over the lake. Room is a little dated, but not bad. We ate at the restaurant one night. Food was really good. It is a little pricey, but worth it. Staff was really friendly and helpful. Breakfasts are really good. They ran out of stuff on second day, seemed like some bad planning. Never seen a salt and pepper chess board.

I can’t say enough great things about this hotel. I just stayed here the last two nights for my best friends wedding and it was a very busy weekend but this hotel was so nice to come back to and sleep and eat! The owner of the inn and all of the staff we encountered were amazing. I also come from the hospitality industry so I truly appreciated everything they did for us as we were kind of a needy group. The rooms are beautiful, the breakfast was amazing (especially the home fries!), the shower water pressure is phenomenal and the pool is also so nice if you have time to use it during your stay. I’m sad I have to go home today but looking forward to one more breakfast in bed :) Thank you for a great stay!

New owner doing some remodeling but keeping the old fashion charm in place. Beautiful view of the lake and mountains.

Beautiful, upscale inn located near Squam lake. Special added touches is what made our stay amazing. Gourmet breakfast (eggs Benedict were awesome). Exquisite woodwork and craftsmanship ship throughout! We stayed in the Norfolk with all the amenities: private deck with views of lake and mountains, private jacuzzi, and fireplace. We were treated like royalty. Service was an A+ from our host, our waitress and the owner, Brian!
