Overall nice weekend getaway. My wife and I enjoyed two nights in a second-floor room, with windows facing the lake, which we could sort of see. We found it a quiet, peaceful place to stay; enjoyed the music playing downstairs. Very comfortable king-sized bed. Great staff; very friendly and helpful. Loved the complimentary breakfasts! Their own mixed berry jam was delicious! Nice croissants. Very tasty! The pool was being...See More

We found it a quiet, peaceful place to stay; enjoyed the music playing downstairs. Very comfortable king-sized bed. Great staff; very friendly and helpful. Loved the complimentary breakfasts! Their own mixed berry jam was delicious! Nice croissants. Very tasty! The pool was being re-done, so wasn't open. We visited Meredith for other meals, shopping and swimming. The Meredith beach was enjoyable, just 15 minutes away. All in all, a very nice stay, and we would return.

I think the view is beautiful - wish it was easier to get to the lake and not crazy about the view of power lines and road. I could get passed that - but the darn construction crew noise is making me a little nutty. It is very loud with the hammering and the excavator’s equipment working on the property next door. Grrr.

But the two lovely staff members I met were wonderful - Megan and …I didn’t catch the room attendant’s name.
Quaint little room that felt so cozy, warm, and clean. Our room is on the very end- which I appreciate for privacy.
I am excited to try the afternoon tea, dinner and breakfast !

A phenomenal place for a proposal!
Stunning views outdoors with beautiful decor inside. Upscale, inviting, with an incredibly friendly, accommodating staff. The breakfast was better than I could have imagined- the potatoes literally melt in your mouth and OJ was fresh squeezed. The breakfast was better than I could have imagined- the potatoes literally melt in your mouth and OJ was fresh squeezed. Before our stay my fiancé informed the staff that he was proposing, so not only was our room immaculate and had a lovely refreshment arrangement…but there was a thoughtful decorative towel display on our bed. The jetted tub in our room was big enough for two, and with candles romantically placed around it, I felt completely pampered.
The Manor has so much charm and warmth, I didn’t want to leave, and can’t wait to go back.

I highly recommend the Manor for any event you may have! We rented out their space for my sister's bridal shower and were extremely impressed with the renovations/improvements they have done as well as the amazing service. We were able to make the space our own for the day and they couldn't have been more accommodating. Hannah the owner was so great to work with leading up to, as well as during the event. The space is beautiful with brand new farm tables adding to the character the dining room already has and of course the food was amazing as well. Truly can't say enough great things about our experience with the staff and space at the Manor!

My wife and I stayed here in the Churchill room which is very traditional yet spacious and very updated, especially the bathroom! So beautiful. Their new event hall is amazing and built for events like weddings, Thanksgiving dinners, Christmas parties, and corporate events. I was not aware of Holderness BUT now I know this destination and the added extras.
