Truly one of the most charming places my wife and I have been to in the south. Also, my wife and I agreed it was one if not THE best steaks we’ve ever had. (Tomahawk for 2). What a culinary experience! Our first time here we celebrated Valentines Day and from the first call to reserve a table to the goodbye at the end of our stay, we felt...See More

Sunday Brunch at Newman’s Restaurant inside the Orchard Inn is a very special experience. Last Sunday, we had brunch there with our guests from Charlotte and Pinehurst. To say they were impressed would be a gross understatement. All of the individual parts of the "Newman's experience" came together. The weather, the porch setting, the mountain views, the food, Lynn's service and their fantastic Bloody Mary's (!!) worked as a...See More

The Orchard Inn is the perfect definition of NC Mountain Magic! We have enjoyed dinner at Newman's Restaurant many times and finally decided to enjoy a special weekend in the Mountainview Suite East. It was beyond all our expectations! The views from every window are spectacular and the interior design is so special. The bedding was so soft and comfy that we checked the brand and ordered a set...See More

Wonderful people run this place and are present and friendly. It has a truly homey feel. The common spaces are comfortable and offer plenty of relaxing things to occupy one's time. The food was tremendous. The setting is spectacular. We cannot wait to return. I enjoyed hanging out with Roxy!

We enjoyed spring mix salad, burrata, jumbo scallop with fried green tomato, duck confit, beef tenderloin,...See More
