  1. Head to the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indian & Western Art. It's filled with unique artifacts from the 19th century on. 
  2. One of our favorite things in Indianapolis is to stroll along the Canal Walk, stretching from White River State Park to Indianapolis' north side. You can explore on foot, bike, or boat. 
  3. Car fans won't want to pass up the opportunity to visit the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum. It features more than 55,000 artifacts and 300+ cars. If a race is what you want to see, you'll need to plan for the Indy-500, which takes place every May. 
  4. Indianapolis is home to a great Indie art scene, evident at local art galleries around downtown. The Chatham-Arch neighborhood has some of Indianapolis's best art galleries and nightlife. 
  5. Walk along Meridian Street and marvel in the beautiful mansions you'll find here. 
  6. Enjoy live music and a delicious dinner in the Broad Ripple neighborhood of Indianapolis.
