The Captain's House Inn is regarded as one of Cape Cod Massachusetts finest properties. The historic estate, built in 1839 by a sea captain is situated on two acres of beautifully landscaped English gardens. The inn's sixteen guestrooms and suites are individually appointed, all with fireplaces, TV/DVD players, air conditioning, WIFI, iPod docking stations, and some with whirlpool tubs. A full gourmet breakfast and evening wine reception are included in all room rates. A carefully selected craft beer and wine list is also available for guests to enjoy at our B&B. The inn's international staff offers unrivaled service and is always eager to help guests enjoy the beauty of Chatham's seaside village. The menu changes daily and includes a sweet and savory option as well as an extensive buffet with cereals, yogurts, fresh fruit, smoked salmon, bagels, ham and cheese, croissants, and coffee cake. Breakfast is served in our bright and airy sun room at individual tables by our lovely British intern staff.

The Captains House Inn is pleased to offer a wedding elopement package designed for the bride and groom who prefer an intimate stress free wedding. Avoid the headaches of a large, stressful wedding and let us do the work so you can enjoy your special day together, either just the two of you, or with a small (up to six plus the bride and groom) of close friends and family members. Our elopement package includes:
Two or three nights (three nights are required in the summer months) lodging in one of our beautifully appointed four diamond guest rooms
All applicable taxes
A bouquet for the bride and a boutonniere for the groom
A small wedding cake
A bottle of champagne or sparkling cider for your wedding toast
A $75 dinner gift certificate to a restaurant of your choice
Digital photography and a CD of your wedding day photos to take with you
Justice of the Peace ceremony fee (any additional services such as putting together a prenuptial agreement will incur additional fees)
A full gourmet breakfast each morning of your stay with room service optional
Afternoon cream tea served daily from 3:00-5:00 with room service optional
