This beautiful, historic home provides an excellent and relaxed atmosphere to unwind from the rushing around of December. We were able to sit on the porch in rocking chairs and enjoy the fireworks on New Years Eve. We walked to dinner as the downtown area is so close you do not have to drive. Our room had a mini fridge, a very comfortable bed, luxurious towels with excellent soaps....See More

This is the most stunning home and little inn! You can tell the owners take an enormous amount of care and pride in creating a beautiful stay for their guests. I’ve stayed at the Katy House 4 times now and it gets better each go. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the home is inviting, and the breakfasts are out of this world. There’s nothing g like the Katy...See More

Wow, what an unexpected gem in the central Texas area! We decided to try The Katy House in nearby Smithville. The southern charm was on par with our experiences in the New Orleans area. So much luxury and attention to detail including the soft high end pillows and high thread count sheets. This updated property is in impeccable condition! And the tasteful Christmas decorations throughout the place were such...See More

It’s located one block off of Main Street which is great for walkability for shopping and dining. I’ve stayed in every room in the main house and while they’re all great, my personal favorite is the one that has the private balcony over the main porch. It’s the perfect...See More

Very Nice! house to rent for a vacation. The area is very quiet and comfortable. There's also some good barbecue across the street for a good meal. Classic buildings a block over that look as if they were built in the 1800's. Ol' Western Town of Texas ????????
